What is Airtech Challenge 2024?
It is an initiative of Daikin and incMTY, which invites entrepreneurs residing in LATAM, to present their startups and projects related to the HVAC industry (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) and its supply chain, through high-impact initiatives.

Every year, Airtech Challenge innovates to bring together the best initiatives that have as goal to optimize the HVAC industry (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning).
In 2024 we continue to grow, for this reason we are looking for startups in these regions:
Verticals of the call
Artificial Intelligence applied to any of the stages of the HVAC Industry value chain:
- MANUFACTURING
- SUPPLY CHAIN
- DESIGN & ENGINEERING
- CONSTRUCTION & INSTALLATION
- MANAGEMENT & MAINTENANCE
Initiatives that, through their value proposal, create significant and measurable improvements to the UX of residential, commercial and industrial customers focused on creating new products, services and business models. With application to one of the following HVAC industry challenges:
- Energy Efficiency in buildings
- Servitization models, financing
- Indoor Air Quality in buildings

What initiatives can be registered in Airtech Challenge 2024?
Projects in seed stages or with MVP
Startups with impact proposals
- - Citizens of Latin America; Including Brazil (Citizens of the USA, can participate if they have a business with operations located in the region, or a project focused on Latin America).
- - People with a valid citizenship in a Latin America country.
- - Being of legal age in your country of residence or at least 18 years old.
- - Have a minimun educational level of technical training or more (Degree, Master Degree, Specialty or PhD).
- - Being able to travel inside and outside of your country of residence. (Indispensable requirement in case of being a finalist).
- - You should explain with clarity the problem you identify, the way you resolve it and the business model to that solution. Is important to mention that you also have to explain with clarity the link between the HVAC industry and the topics of the challenge.
- - The initiatives and operations of the solution should be established in a Latin America country. Also they should be original ideas and not tropicalizations of technologies of other latitudes therefore models with exclusive commercialization or franchises are automatically excluded from this call.

You can register from July 10th to September 6th.

- How can I participate in Airtech Challenge 2024?
By registering on the form found in www.incMTY.com/airtech/en.

- Who can participate?
- People with a valid citizenship in a Latin America country.
- Being of legal age in your country of residence or at least 18 years old.
- Have a minimum educational level of technical training, Degree, Master Degree, Specialty or PhD.
- Have at least one functional prototype, sales or a stage before receiving financing.

- Do I need to have a project or Startup to participate?
Yes, in this edition we are looking for startups in seed stages or projects with MVP about the HVAC Industry (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning).

- Does participation in the call have any cost?
It doesn't have any cost so we invite you to participate if you have a project or startup that has an impact in the HVAC industry.
The participants should have a computer with access to internet.
Time availability to attend events and send activities.

Participants who currently have a job in any political party.
Active public officials.
Participants who are currently in another challenge of incMTY.
Projects of public origin of the government or institutions in the 3 levels.
